Earlier today the homie JMAC (Drake’s barber, also a long time homie of mine) hit me up on twitter, telling me that he’s back in Toronto and Drake, Niko and the team needed to get cut up this evening.  Niko then hit me up and arranged it for me to come by the telly to chop them up!

I’d like to tell y’all about JMAC, Jay’s always been one of my mentors when it comes to barbering.  I actually met Drake thru JMAC back when I used to get cut up at his shop.  Jay taught me a lot about the game and showed me the ropes of the trade!  I’d like to shout him out on all the success he’s had the past few years!  From a barber to another, keep killin the GAME!  Thanks again bruh…

As I was cuttin Drake up, he totally forgot that I was from Toronto LOL…Then Niko told him we met a few years back at JMACs barbershop!  We then caught up with whats been goin on and how I ended up moving down to LA.  I then got a sneak peak of a few tracks from the TAKE CARE album! All I gotta say is, this albums gonna be RIDICULOUS!!!…

We then started talking about my shop, CAPSULE BARBERSHOP and Drake was saying how he wants to stop by and check it out…After the cut, I gave him one of our CPSL tees and he was diggin it, he then said since he got one of my shirts it was only right for me to have an OVO tee, so shoutout to Drake for the Tee…

I’ll be back with the team tomorrow to cut up the rest of them!

Today was a good day…

The homie Legacy of the NewBoyz dropped by Capsule last week for a fresh cut before he hit up the studio…They always up in the shop on a weekly basis to stay fresh! You never know whose in the shop when you come to get your fresh cut!

The homie Devin Ebanks of the Lakers hit me up yesterday afternoon telling me that he’s due for a cut as well as some of his homies including Toronto Raptors forward, Ed Davis.  I also happen to cut up one of Kevin Durant’s homies, Ian who said that he could get me to cut up KD for sure next time he’s in town!  Ed was a cool dude, real down to earth, he was happy with the cut and said that he now has a personal barber out here in L.A and that he’ll spread the word to the rest of his NBA homies!  There goes another NBA player to my list of ballers…still got a long way to go on my A-LIST clientele, but I ain’t stoppin’! #onmyGRIND
